Making Bold Decisions at the MIT Sloan CFO Summit

By Caroline Legg

As we emerge from the Thanksgiving holiday, the Warner Communications team is looking back
on the fruits of our labor around another successful MIT Sloan CFO Summit held on November 15.

Each year we are a proud partner of this world-class event that brings together more than 500
academic thought leaders and financial executives from around the world for a full day of
interactive learning and thought-provoking discourse on the future of finance, accounting, and
business. The Warner team secures media attendance from the leading business and financial
press to cover the Summit, including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and TechTarget,
among numerous others.

This year’s sessions and panels sparked compelling conversations and thought-provoking
insights on everything from the future of finance software, to how to determine if you should
sell a business in its early life cycle. Take a peek at the full agenda here.

During this year’s event, the conversation focused on “Power: A Bold CFO’s Moves,” helping
attendees understand how to make bold decisions, convey those decisions with confidence,
and manage with power. The Summit had an impressive lineup of speakers from IBM, KPMG,
SiriusXM, Adobe, UBS, Silicon Valley Bank, and many more. You can read about some of the key
takeaways from the conference here:
